Does the power to judge scripture belong to the church? Or anyone else for that matter? Or is it God's word?

Not to be dissected by human reasoning. The sacrifice of Christ, in that He, being God in the flesh, loved us sinners enough to suffer and die for us, is beyond our comprehension. As well a a multitude of other teachings in the Bible.
