Will there be a Modern Warfare 3?

I loved Mw2. It is possibly the best game ever made for Xbox 360. The Campaign was out of this world. Although, with the fighting that has been going on between Infinity Ward, will there be another game? I have so many unanswered questions about the campaign. What happened to Foley, Dunn, and Ramirez after liberating Washington, D.C. ? Is Ghost and/or Roach still alive? Where the hell is Makarov? What happened to Captain Price, Nikolai, and Soap at the end of the game? Will Shepard live, even though he got a knife through his left eye?
