This girl is a major flirt and it is killing me?

I met this girl in my ceramics cl at school. She would always flirt with me tease my hair, take lots of photos, and she even wanted to hold my hand and our fingers interlocked. Everytime something like this happens her friends laugh or she lies to them saying were going out and I text her all the time. I am mutual friends with her on facebook and checked out her wall. She flirts with a ton of guys and says she hangs out and flirts with guys when she is bored. Her old boyfriend and her have some conversations on their about the crazy times they used to have. This kid I knew from my bus stop he was always smoking joint or cig and drinking a beer. She is a party girl and asked me to go to a party but I don't like parties I also couldn't go because I was meeting my bestfriend. She said I was hot as f*** on her facebook but also said to another boy flirting with her she was interested in somone else and that he should know who she is interested in. The boy said oh, rory (my name) bleh :P. She is beautiful and I thought holding hands met something more;(. She wrote good day with a heart symbol on her facebook wall that same day we holded hands. I am really kinda of hurt by what she said. Holding hands is to me going to far with flirting if your joking because it made me feel she cared for me.
