Simple trig question?

Looks like you got your answer there. I'd just like to point out to be careful when it comes to worded questions. Sometimes they like to try to throw you off or confuse you. For example in your question it states "One early escalator built in 1896...". The fact that it was built in 1986 has nothing to do with the mathematical part you're trying to solve. :) Keep your eye out!
