Is there a surgery or certain cream to severely reduce stretch marks?

I have a lot of stretch marks, some on my arms, some on my stomach, and some are red and some are white, I don't really know what the difference is. I've been losing weight, and using strech mark creams but I know it doesn't really do much. I would need to get to goal weight first but Is there a surgery that can take away or severly reduce/remove stretch marks? I really would like to get it done after I reach goal weight. How much does it cost and does any1 know a great surgeon? Thanks!
