Which of the following is most important to you in choosing a candidate to vote for? Please feel free to add?

That he/she understands the role of government: to protect it's citizenry, not to control it. That the Bill of Rights is a limit on the government, not what we have a right to do, which in turn gives us those rights. There is a big difference! The government needs to stay out of our lives, not get further in to them! Understands international issues/threats and is a realist about them.
