Acceptable to wear "Daughter of an AKA" clothing given to me by my AKA mother?

The clothing clearly states that you are 'the daughter of..." and not misrepresenting yourself. I don't know how sororities operate, never having been in one myself...but as an 'impartial viewer'....the 'sorors' may see this as opportunistic...or maybe not. I think it's a cute idea, though.
