Are ditzy girls a turn on for guys?

So I'm in high school and I have noticed the same thing. See I have two friends and all of us are pretty, funny and able to have educated conversations. We don't really act like total idiots in font of guys either. And it seems girls that are loud and that strive for attention seem to get more guys. Its very frustrating for me and my friends. I think part of it is that the ditzy girls are easier to use.
